It's easy. If you are NOT in the roundabout then everyone IN the roundabout has the right of way. My problem is with the people who turn left in the roundabout while in the outer lane. There should be arrows on the pavement indicating the direction of travel allowed just like at a Red/Green light! I love how this video show's the cleanest nicest roundabout EVER created. Take a look at the run down, paint missing roundabouts with sticks and blind spots and people turning where they aren't supposed to. It's a nightmare. No cops in K/W. Only in Guelph. K/W can't afford Police.

There you have it folks. If Cambridge had an arsehole it would surely be at this shelter. The crime in that area has caused untold horrors and it's only growing worse by the day.

So, I just received one, but this person has never even made me sign anything, he has never given me receipts, and right now he is not even allowed on the premises because he was arrested and charged with assault. So, he cannot come onto the property. Also, it says the reason for the notice is for Breach of verbal agreement (What verbal agreement? I pay my rent) Unsafe living situation for the landlord and tenants (I have never touched him, but he has assaulted 3 people, including myself on multiple occasions. Also, it said damaged property. There is no damaged property. He has broken my TV stand by smashing the glass with a hammer, and he threw out my property without permission. He broke my outdoor glass table, too. He has stolen money from me. He has come onto the property even though he is legally not allowed on it. I have tried contacting the RCMP multiple times now and they won't do anything about it. They have helped him when he has assaulted people that live here. They have even taken him to McDonald's after he choked my sister and he was never arrested. They are VERY corrupt, and he is playing the victim. There are so many 911 calls, I can't even count them all. What do I do?

Murray’s Millwood Manor is NOT A RETIREMENT HOME - it is a Halfway House and nursing home. The pictures on this website are a fantasy. Vulnerable, disabled seniors are housed with violent offenders. The first thing you notice when you walk into Murray’s Millwood Manor, is the overwhelming stench of stale urine and feces. It permeates the building and, never goes away. The building is filthy and, residents sit around in full adult diapers that constantly leak and, get all over the common areas. People are left to sit in their own filth for days, without being looked after. People who require assistance with bathing are verbally abused, left sitting naked and exposed to anyone who walks by. They are shouted at and manhandled. The plumbing in the building is shot. The water temperature is either freezing cold or scalding hot, it does not run warm. Chemical restraint is the norm and, if you won’t take your pills, you are verbally and physically abused by the Nursing staff. The heating and cooling systems are broken. In the winter it is freezing and in the summer the heat is sweltering. The rooms and common areas are rarely cleaned and they don’t use disinfectant. There are constant bed bug infestations and residents get bacterial infections from the filth. The food is repetitive and disgusting. People are alone and isolated all day. They are chemically restrained and left alone in filthy rooms crawling with bed bugs. Staff are abusive and threaten physical violence if you don’t comply with their orders. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. IT IS DANGEROUS.

I read in the Paper that this was not going to be built till 2041. I believe it was to be built before 2031 . When is this going forward as the development on the south end of Cambridge is way beyond the numbers when these plans were made ?

I hope you make it it driver friendly as well. It would be nice to be able to drop off or pick up a person there easily.

Roundabouts are terrific in low to medium traffic areas, but they are terrible in high traffic areas. For example, try driving in Cambridge at about 5 p.m. on a weekday where Franklin Boulevard and Pinebush Road intersect. it is not uncommon for drivers coming from either direction on Pinebush to be stuck for several minutes because the drivers on Franklin seldom follow the golden rule of yielding to allow others to enter. An old-fashioned traffic light would better suit this intersection. Furthermore, I'd be very hesitant as a pedestrian using one of the crosswalks if I was elderly, a blind person or a child. There was an article in the K-W Record a few years ago reporting that blind pedestrians are especially fearful of using crosswalks within roundabouts--and I totally sympathize with them.
